5 REASONS WHY I CHOSE BBG TO GET BACK IN SHAPE

What's that miracle fitness program everybody's talking about right now? If you're a girl or a woman using social media daily, you've probably stumbled upon names like BBG or Kayla already even if you're not into fitness. Or, if you're not much into Instagram or Fb, you might have already heard about someone near you (friend, friend of a friend or family member) who's doing BBG.

Ten months ago I myself casually found Kayla Itsines and her fitness program too. Casually because I started using Instagram account for reasons not related to fitness and BBG community is so strong on IG that if you don't search for it, it will find you somehow! And luckily, BBG found me and I couldn't help but fall for it.

At that point I was trying to get back into shape by running and I was not happy enough with the results, I was losing weight but slowly and I was into the (wrong) concept of running as much as you can in order to achieve some goals. Then - BOOM! Kayla and her army arrived to show me that all I needed was her 28min a day program. 
So here's what convinced me to start this new fitness journey.

1. BBG CAN BE DONE AT HOME.

You can perform BBG workouts at home with some essential equipment. My time is divided between working in my home studio and taking care of my family and our house.  My schedule is quite tight, so It would be impossible for me to spend hours in the gym (though you can do BBG at the gym if you want to!). BBG allows me to work out at home whenever I find it comfortable. 

2. BBG WORKOUTS ARE QUICK TO COMPLETE.

BBG resistance workouts are 28mins three times a week. You'll do some hard work in that time but it's passes quickly. Then you have your cardio 3 times a week, in my case it's outdoor power walking which should be at least 35mins. My walks are 45-50 mins and so pleasant. Further into the program you'll add 15 mins interval training. 
If we want to keep it 100% real counting some warm-up and post-workout stretching plus consider your shower as well, you will need maximum 1 hour 6 times a week. Done and polished. I believe it's really a comfortable routine!

3. BBG COMMUNITY IS SO EMPOWERING.

I never could have imagined the existence of an amazing community of women empowering women like the one that was born with BBG on Instagram. You will find incredible ladies all over the world all dedicated to improving themselves and their health through BBG. You will make friends, motivate each other and follow each other's progresses. You can never regret being a part of it, once you do you can't live without your daily dose of BBGsisters.

4. BBG GIVES WOMEN SOME GREAT RESULTS.

I've spent lots of time looking at all those incredible transformations and progress made by the girls committed to Kayla's program before starting it myself. They all developed a lean but beautifully tones body, exactly the type of athletic body most women dream about. BBG mix of resistance exercises and cardio will eventually help you build your body this way. I was stuck with very slow results from running before starting BBG but my BBG results came quickly and are continuing (so much to improve still.) I lost weight, but I keep toning up just in the right places.

5. BBG TEACHES YOU NUTRITION TOO.

I've never been into dieting, I love food way to much to deprive myself. But BBG is also about food. You can follow Kayla's food guide once you subscribe to her Sweat With Kayla app (vegetarian and vegan program included as well). I don't follow the food guide myself but I've still learned so much about nutrition since I'm part of BBG community. I made some small changes to my usual diet in the last months which accelerated my progress. My eating is now much more balanced and healthy and I don't find it hard not to binge on chocolate anymore (while I still eat eat!).

These are just 5 major reasons of why I chose and why I stay committed to the BBG fitness program. There are so many minor ones which I will be covering in my future posts. 
After being what they call a bbg girl for 10 months now, I can just say a giant thank you to Kayla Itsines for bringing such a perfect program to the women all over the world. 
Once you're into it, you can fully understand the reason of its success. If you're thinking about starting - do it! I promise, you won't regret!
